Yan Xinyi

PhD Student/Research Assistant

Hi, I’m Xinyi! You can also call me Zen (or Zan). I joined Foo Lab as a research assistant and PhD student in 2024. My research interest is heart regeneration, focusing on developing innovative therapeutic approaches to try to restore heart function following injury, mainly myocardial infarction.

Outside of science, I enjoy music (playing instruments and music producing) and sports (gym, swimming and tennis).
