Chaoyue Zhang
Visiting PhD Student
I am a Visiting PhD student in Foo-Lab. My major is Clinical Medicine with a subspecialty in Cardiology. In China, I obtained my medical licence and completed standardized residency training. To date, I have performed more than 1,200 coronary angiographies (CA) and over 300 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
My research focuses on applying multi-omics approaches to investigate the molecular mechanisms and therapeutic strategies of diabetic cardiomyopathy. I am experienced in bioinformatics analyses using R and Python, including scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, bulk RNA-seq, and other omics datasets. I am also familiar with both in vivo and in vitro experimental validation.
Outside the lab, I enjoy basketball, music, and movies.
