Anna Kawaguchi

Hey :D My name is Kawa and I recently graduated from Karolinska Institute with a BSc in Biomedicine. I first got to know Foo Lab while doing my undergrad thesis here on exchange. I liked it so much I just had to come back as an RA where I'm mainly working with cardiomyocyte metabolism and mitochondrial function.

Most of the time you’ll find me weightlifting or reviewing A LOT of media (@kawabummer on letterboxd/goodreads) but my guilty pleasures are scrapbooking and tabletop games (TTRPGs/TCGs). Outside of the lab I hike and travel whenever I can squeeze it in :)
